on co-bedding with my babies. i know that parents have different ways for their families and that co-bedding is not for everyone but i feel like it is important to talk about it to let people know that it is a normal thing to do.
when i see those ads like this one from a couple years ago i just feel like they are going too far. their are ways to make co-sleeping safe and comfortable for everyone.
over here, Clémence and i are sleeping in the parental bed. it is so much easier to breastfeed. she doesn't even have to cry. she just whimpers and i just say "here is my boob". i can't even imagine gathering the energy to stand up to go get my baby.
now some people may ask "aren't you scared to be rolling over and suffocate her?" somehow, you just have a constant sense that your baby is here and the way your arm is twisted it makes it kind of hard to move. and having these small kids in our lives is passing by so fast. they are so defenseless and small and needing of your milk or warmth or just you holding them. it feels so good to offer that.
What about you? do you co-sleep with your baby or sleep in separate beds? I would love to hear...
Ps: i would love to get a big kind size bed so we could aalllll sleep in it when Clémence gets older.
